This evening I was reading one of your favorite books: 'Good Night, God Bless' when I noticed you mouthing the words as I read, so I let you fininsh each page that I started and you knew more than 75% of the book!
Another quick note, 2 weeks ago was your Mom's Birthday, so I decided we should make a cake while she slept. I got out the cake mix and you poured it into the bowl. Then the water... you poured it. Then the oil, and you poured it. I mixed the ingredients and poured it into the pan while you had the cake box in your hands. I'm about to put the pan in the oven when you shout, and I'm not kidding:
"Dada, NEED EGGS!"
You saw the picture of each ingredient on the box and knew I forgot theeggs, I just fell over laughing... and then remixed the cake.
Finally, we went downtown with the O'Keefe's this evening to watch the the girl scouts sing carols at the Williams Center (Isabel & Brooke were singing). Then the Mayor lit the tree outside, you were very excited. Finally we went across the steeet to take a Horse & Buggy ride around the block. Kerry and you were singing 'Jingle Bells as we rode.
Tomorrow we'll head back for the Holiday parade.
